It is of course your choice, but I have not had this issue since I do not use workstation on Linux. Me personally, I would just get use to KVM if this was giving me hassle - since it's native Linux and I would be using it daily, I'd force myself to do everything natively - like I do with Windows. Part of using Linux as your daily driver means you will face the issues above regularly until you are familiar with all of the commands and syntax, there is a lot less than can be done in the GUI vs Windows, so these types of issues will become your best friend. If the trial still doesn't work then no point upgrading. I never said buy it, I said try it (WS15)
